About Seven Springs Farm
Mission
At Seven Springs Farm Winery, our mission is to craft exceptional foods and wines that celebrate family, Italian heritage, and the simple joy of sharing a meal. Through traditional recipes, carefully selected ingredients, and small-batch craftsmanship, we create products that bring people together around the table.
Italian Pantry exists to help families enjoy authentic Italian meals at home by offering handcrafted sauces, soups, seasonings, and pantry favorites inspired by generations of family recipes and made with uncompromising quality.
Springhouse Reserve crafts distinctive wines and artisan spirits that honor both the land and the traditions from which they came. Every bottle is produced with patience, integrity, and a commitment to creating memorable moments worth raising a glass to.
Vision
We envision Seven Springs Farm as a place where old-world traditions and modern craftsmanship come together to create authentic foods and wines worthy of life's everyday celebrations. Our goal is to become a trusted destination for families who value quality, authenticity, and the memories made when good food and good wine are shared with those they love.
Italian Pantry aspires to become the pantry that families reach for whenever they want more than a meal. Our vision is to bring the warmth of an Italian kitchen into homes everywhere, where every jar inspires conversation, laughter, and another seat at the table.
Springhouse Reserve's vision is to build a winery and distillery recognized not for producing the most bottles, but for producing the ones people remember. We strive to create wines and spirits that become part of celebrations, friendships, and family traditions for generations to come.
Management
Seven Springs Farm Winery is owned and operated by the team of Luella Giada Mozingo and Nicola Vincenzo Cinquegranna, whose shared vision is to create authentic foods and wines that celebrate family, tradition, and hospitality. Together they combine decades of experience, complementary skills, and a genuine love of bringing people together around the table.
As President of Seven Springs Farm Winery, Luella oversees the business, marketing, and horticultural operations that keep the farm growing season after season. From the gardens and vineyards to customer relationships and product presentation, her attention to detail and passion for quality help ensure that every product reflects the values on which the farm was built.
Nick serves as Vice President of Operations, Executive Chef, Winemaker, and Distiller. Drawing on his Italian heritage and lifelong passion for cooking, he develops the recipes behind the Italian Pantry line while also crafting the wines and artisan spirits of Springhouse Reserve. Every sauce is prepared as though it were destined for a Sunday family dinner, and every bottle is produced with the patience and respect that traditional winemaking and distilling deserve.
Together, Luella and Nick believe that food and wine are about far more than nourishment—they're about creating memories. Whether it's a quiet dinner for two, a family celebration, or a gathering of friends, their goal is simple: to provide handcrafted products that make every meal feel just a little more special.
Farm History
The story of Seven Springs Farm Winery began long before we arrived. The land was established as a working farm in 1853 and, despite changing owners and names over the generations, has remained in continuous agricultural production ever since..
In 1999, Luella purchased the property, renamed it Seven Springs Farm, and in 2001 built the farmhouse that now overlooks the fields and orchards. Standing nearby was the farm's original 1858 barn, a remarkable timber-frame structure that faithfully served generations of Indiana farmers, still, the old barn had reached the end of its working life. Its story, however, is far from over. The hand-hewn beams, weathered siding, roofing, and century-old planking are being carefully reclaimed and will become part of our future winery, distillery, farm store, and arboretum—allowing the craftsmanship of the past to live on in the next chapter of the farm's history.
When Nick and Luella joined forces in 2014, they embraced a new vision for the farm. Traditional Indiana row-crop production gradually gave way to organic management and value-added agriculture, creating exceptional foods, wines, and spirits rather than simply producing larger harvests. That vision continues today through the Italian Pantry line of handcrafted foods, Springhouse Reserve wines and artisan spirits, a growing vineyard, a Burgundy Truffle orchard, and fields devoted to heritage grains—including Bloody Butcher corn, Calypso barley, wheat, and oats—for future distilling.
Seven Springs Farm is where centuries of agricultural tradition meet twenty-first-century technology. The farm serves as the primary development and testing site for Luigi-II, an artificial intelligence decision-support system created specifically for small and family-owned farms.
Luella continually experiments with different organic and regenerative approaches to improve the healthfulness and quality of our crops and livestock. Every season provides an opportunity to test new ideas, improve sustainable farming practices, and ensure that the technology is grounded in the realities of everyday agriculture.
Today, Seven Springs Farm is more than a farm.
It is where two family histories became one.
It is where old traditions meet new ideas.
It is where history is preserved, innovation is encouraged, and every generation is challenged to leave the land—and the table—a little better than they found it.
We hope you'll pull up a chair and become part of the next chapter.
