At Seven Springs Farm, eggs are not simply another product—they are part of a complete, sustainable farming system.

Our flock lives on open pasture where the hens spend their days doing what chickens were meant to do: foraging through grass, scratching for seeds and insects, dust bathing, and enjoying fresh Indiana sunshine. Their diet is supplemented with high-quality organic feed, giving them the nutrition they need while allowing them to express their natural behaviors.

Every egg is collected by hand, carefully inspected, and packed on the farm. Unlike most supermarket eggs, ours are left unwashed. This preserves the egg's natural protective coating, known as the bloom, which helps shield the shell from bacteria and moisture loss. We recommend storing the eggs under refrigeration after purchase.

Because our hens are free to roam and forage, the appearance of the yolks may vary slightly throughout the seasons—a reflection of nature rather than factory uniformity. Spring grasses, summer insects, autumn seeds, and winter feed all contribute to subtle changes in color and flavor.
