Tomato, Artichoke, Onion, Bell Peppers and Garlic Sauce

Pomodoro e Carciofi brings together three ingredients that have shared Italian tables for generations—sun-ripened tomatoes, tender artichoke hearts and peppers. We begin with a slow-simmered tomato sauce, then add extra virgin olive oil, chopped artichokes, sweet onions, bell peppers and plenty of coarsely chopped garlic to create a sauce that's rich, rustic, and wonderfully satisfying.

The artichokes add a delicate, earthy flavor that transforms an ordinary dinner into something memorable. It's equally at home spooned over grilled or breaded chicken or pork cutlets, folded into baked pasta dishes, or simply tossed with your favorite pasta and finished with freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.
